New Blog

Well fans of samstod.com (both of you), I've decided to start blogging again now that I have the time and energy to do so. In case you didn't know, earlier this week, I was let go from my consulting position by the state due to a lack of funds. A full-time position may or may not be available on July 1, so that gives me some time to look for a new job, and get some things done in my life. Mostly writing, though four days in, I haven't gotten much of that done yet. 

So far, unemployment is not as productive as I hoped it would be. Every day is a lazy Sunday, with a few tasks that need completing, but not enough of a schedule to really get me up and motivated. Generally everything goes to hell around 1pm when I decide to play a quick draft on modo or watch something on Hulu. Then, next thing you know it's 5pm.  I hope to be able to control my urge to spend every day like a weekend, and get some real work done before it's time to go back to work.
